Ms. Gonzalez brings over 14 years of experience in environmental engineering and project management gained as a regulator and as a consultant. Her strong technical background, regulatory experience and project management expertise gives her a unique ability to provide clients streamlined and economic solutions to a variety of environmental problems. The majority of Ms. Gonzalez’s experience has been on managing projects to obtain regulatory closure on environmental issues, many receiving “No Further Action” closure from regulatory agencies. Such projects have included producing oil fields, bulk oil storage terminals, operating industrial facilities, defunct industrial facilities, and vacant lots. Her expertise in site characterization, remediation, and regulatory issues provides a critical component towards unique and cost effective solutions to bring a project to a successful closure. Ms. Gonzalez is also familiar with the interactions, hierarchy, and overlap of local, state and federal regulatory agencies as well as each agency’s ability to negotiate a resolution to environmental matters.
